Bringing something entirely new to a conservative market.
Skilled Linguists is a translation agency. When discussing company values we figured the brand itself is an elegant and exclusive one, however, they do not wish to remain conservative visually. We had to include this contradiction in the brand somehow.
Communication is what keeps us together both in speech and in writing.
The icon part of the logo is a deconstructed letter ‘S’ that means two things: the ends are on one hand speech bubbles, while on the other hand, they are apostrophes symbolizing written communication.
Creating something new but remaining a part of the same unit.
The brand includes a sub-brand called Christian Linguists which deals with the translation of the religious and liturgic text.
The goal was to convey visually that it is part of the Skilled Linguists brand, so we used the same symbols to create the logo, therefore creating a dynamic brand.
